Visit to Denmark
On August 16-19, representatives of the Polish project partners - the Romincka Forest Landscape Park and the "Man and Nature" Association - visited the project sites in Denmark: the toad breeding station in Kerteminde on the island of Fyn, places for restoration of water reservoirs, construction of hibernaqula and reintroduction of the toad on Skarø island , places where toad eggs are harvested on Birkholm and the toad habitat on the islands of Avernakø and Ærø.

This is a huge success in a project whose main goal is to protect this rare and declining species.
On May 17, 2021, a phototrap installed in the tunnel of the lower passage for small vertebrate animals under national road No. 16 in Masuria recorded the moment of use of the tunnel by a mud turtle (Emys orbicularis)!
