Mating amphibians
This year spring "broke out" violently. And the amphibians have started their mating season! One of the water reservoirs in the village of Żytkiejmy attracts amazing numbers of gray toads. There are plenty of them - both on the shore and in the water. We wish them reproductive success!

We are starting monitoring hibernaculas
In 2019, we built 12 artificial hibernaculas for amphibians in the Romincka Forest Landscape Park. As this is an innovative action throughout Europe, we conduct monitoring every spring - we check which amphibians use hibernaculas.
