We start monitoring the use of hibernation sites.
Around a lot of signs of spring, although in many places still lies snow, and the surface of the water is covered with ice. However, a few warm days - preferably rainy ones - are enough for amphibian to wake up from hibernation and embark on their eternal spring hike to the water reservoirs where mating will take place.

World Wetlands Day
On February 2, 2021, we celebrate the World Wetlands Day. It was established to commemorate the signing of the Ramsar Convention in 1971.
