Construction of passages for small animals under the national road No. 16 has been completed!
We have completed the largest investment planned for the project. Under the national road No. 16 - between Mikołajki and Mrągowo - we have built two systems of passages, thanks to which the continuity of habitats and migration corridors of amphibians, reptiles (including the European pond turtle), small mammals and invertebrates will be maintained.
The tunnels and guiding walls used are made of polymer concrete, which is the best material currently available on the market: it is light, strong, non-absorbent, smooth, does not require steel reinforcement.
Investment value: PLN 3,900,000.
