The end of the year is the time to put a full stop on the project. The vast majority of activities have already been completed, the effects are visible and the indicators have been measured. We have something to be proud of, so we were happy to wait for the last monitoring visit. This time, together with our permanent monitor, a representative of the financing institution - the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Agency - came from Brussels.
During a short, two-day visit, we managed to show turtle passages under national road No. 16, the largest turtle nesting site in Masuria secured as part of the project, and water reservoirs recreated near Mikołajki and in the Romincka Forest. Of course, selected documents were also checked. We talked a lot about the future and agreed that the project should be continued.
So a period or a comma?
